    • Yes, U2Call accepts all major credit and debit cards.
  • In what denominations can I top up / recharge?
    • You can top up / recharge for £5, £10, £20, £30, £50, £100, £150, £200, £250 & £300.
  • Is there a minimum value for which I have to top up?
    • Yes. You have to top up for a minimum value of only £5 unlike other services in the market who have a minimum top up requirement of £20 and more.

  • Is there a validity period of my purchase?
    • No. There is no validity period for your airtime purchase; your talk time balance will be intact even after 12 months. But your Financial credits will expire in 30 days from the date of recharge. i.e the balance amount in your account will not be refunded after 30 days.

    • No. U2Call pre-paid does not have any set up charges or any other hidden charges.

    • Your calls will be charged on per minute basis.
  • Will I be billed for dialing the access numbers?
    • You will not be charged by U2call for dialing the access numbers, but may be charged by your phone / mobile operator depending on your tariff plan.
  • Will I be charged for dialing the Customer Service numbers?
    • You will not be charged by U2call, please check with your phone/mobile operator for any charges for using the given customer service numbers. Usually 0808 numbers are not charged by fixed line operators. Free minutes are consumed while dialing a 0207 number from your mobile phone.
  • I was not connected, but was charged for the call?
    • Sometimes your call reaches the voicemail of the called destination number or is answered by the destination operator but the operator at the other end does not transmit the voice message to us. However, you can call our customer services at 0207 122 0592 if you have been charged wrongly and claim a refund.
  • What is difference between an international calling card and the U2Call Residential Service?

    • Yes, you can use any touch tone phone to use U2Call account. Remember that calls from payphones carry a surcharge, up to 25 pence per minute.

  • Once I am a U2Call customer, do I pay U2Call my line rental?
    • No. You have to carry on paying the line rental to your existing landline service provider (BT, NTL, etc.).
  • What is the difference in tariff if I access your service using a 0207 access instead of 0800 access? Will I get more minutes or a better rate if I call 0207?
    • The rate on 0207 access is normally lower than the 0800 rate. Therefore, you should effectively get more minutes on 0207 access.
  • Are calls to 0800 numbers included in my mobile tariff?
    • Calls to 0800 numbers on a contracted mobile are not included as a part of free minutes. They are charged at standard rates. However it is best to confirm this with the mobile service provider.
  • I am a pay-as-you-go customer. Is 0800 number access free in my case?
    • Calls to 0800 from a pay-as-you-go phone will be charged at standard mobile rates depending on the plan you have chosen. No free calls are allowed on pay-as-u-go network except emergency calls and calls to the service provider. It is best to check with your service provider on rates before you make a call to our access numbers.
  • Will I be getting a bill to be able to see my call and balance details?
    • No. You do not need a bill as you can view and retrieve your call history and other details online immediately after you make a call. So, just login to your account.
  • Can I check my account balance at any given moment?
    • Yes. You can dial the access number (0207 122 0593 or 0203 542 6350) and your account number and PIN (if necessary) and an automated message will automatically inform you about your balance. Alternatively, you can also avail our online facility at a later stage and check your account history online at the touch of a button.

    • Only 1 user can use a PIN at a time, if someone is using the same PIN at the same time, that user will get an engaged tone.
  • What is CLI?
    • CLI is Caller Line Identification and is used for PIN less dialing. It is the location from where the call originates.
  • Can I dial only a free phone number to use PIN less dialing or can local access numbers also provide me this facility?
    • If you are dialing from your registered phone number, then all access numbers that you use can offer PIN-less dialing facility.
  • Can I increase or reduce the number of callers I can register?
    • Yes, you can. All you have to do is login to your account and manage the account personally to change the registered CLIs.
